Burges Band Festival 2016


Dear Fellow Band Directors,

     The Seventh Annual Burges Band Festival will be held on Friday & Saturday, April 1 & 2 2016. The entry and additional information will be available online at www.burgeshsband.com.  You may perform for ratings or for comments only. We will use music from past years UIL Sight reading lists. We are very flexible and we will work with you to make your participation an excellent educational experience for your students and for you.
     The entry fee is $220 and will include a professional recording, a trophy (participation or rating) constructive comments for both concert performance and sight reading and a video recording of you and your group during the explanation and performance of the sight reading portion of the festival. The entry deadline is March 4, 2016 and the Performance schedule will be posted and sent to participating schools on March 7.

Schedule

Schedules will be posted on March 7, 2016. If you have a preference on day and performance, please state the reason below where provided. I will work with you as much as possible. Conflicts with other music events usually take top priority.
